This interdisciplinary volume offers a comprehensive discussion of important theoretical and research issues regarding the psychological and psycho-pedagogical aspects of art, play and narrative. Attention is paid both to the primary functions of art, play and narrative, as well as to certain secondary functions, which relate closely to their psycho-pedagogical, therapeutic, cognitive and socio-moral effects. These effects lead to changes in consciousness and behaviour, opening up new possibilities in our lives. Topics investigated in this volume include:
