Nikolas Zirganos is a veteran investigative journalist for leading Greek print and broadcast media, including Kyriakatiki Eleftherotypia, Efymerida ton Syntakton, Kathimerini and the private Star and Ant1 channels. An experienced war correspondent, he has reported from the Balkans and the Middle East for Greek and foreign media.

Operation Nostos, his first crime novel, was inspired by his investigation into antiquities trafficking and his collaborations with, among others, eminent researcher Peter Watson, author of The Medici Conspiracy.

Zirganos’s reports were instrumental in the repatriation of several looted artefacts.
