Luan Xhuli was born in 1955 in Devoll of Korçë, Albania. He has a BA in Industrial Chemistry. From early age he showed an interest in literature and worked as a journalist in local newspapers. He has been honored with several awards in his native country. In 1995 he immigrated with his family to Greece. There he published five collections of poetry in Greek, as well as children stories and poems in literary magazines.
The collection “Pou na zeteso sygnomi”, has been awarded by the Greek Ministry of Culture as one of the best poetry books for the period 2008-2010. His collection, “Hagios Prodotes” (Topos 2014) was shortlisted as one of the best poetry collections of 2015 by “Public Bookstores”.
He is a member of the Circle of Poets association in Athens.
