 Maria Batzini was born in Piraeus in 1966. She studied Russian literature and foreign languages in the former USSR, in Italy, and in Germany. She currently works for a German airline and journeys frequently around the world. Her free time is devoted to her family, and to reading literature and writing books. She is the co-author of Ancient Greece and the Modern Manager (2009) and Wisdom Made in Delphi: The commandments of the seven sages (Topos Books 2011) Greek Wisdom: The Foundations of Justice (2017), Greek Wisdom: The Foundations of Medicine (2020) and Greek Wisdom: The Land and the People (Topos Books 2012) and Greek Wisdom: The Foundations of justice (2017).
