Ilias Bourgiotis was born in Athens. He works as a freelance photographer for various Greek magazines and newspapers. He has presented his work in several group and solo exhibitions in museums, galleries, and festivals of photography in Greece as well as the United States, Italy, France, Belgium, Finland, Switzerland, Denmark, Slovakia, Croatia, and Spain. A selection of his photographs is part of the permanent collection of the Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art and Thessaloniki Museum of Photography.
