Galanopoulos Neokles |
Neokles Galanopoulos was born in Athens in 1972. A lawyer who specializes in labor law, he often takes on the state in cases brought against it by public sector employees. He first began spinning detective stories while still a boy. His hobbies include watching movies, and reading crime novels, literary and translation theory, philosophy, history, and dictionaries.
Most Greek critics have acknowledged his great talent in mystery stories. His previous novels, The Variant of Giorgios Darsinos and Death out of nowhere, received several positive reviews. Galanopoulos has also translated into Greek the classic crime story The Hollow Man by John Dickson Carr for Topos Books’ Cult Stories series.
